As a Golden Xerox Partner, Direct Services Ltd participated in the Xerox Partner Meeting held on October 16 and 17, 2019 in London. The event was attended by over 100 participants from the EMEA region, the main topic of the presentations and discussions being where the digital printing industry is developing and what challenges Print Service Providers are facing. Statistics and surveys reaffirmed the established market trends - increasing color pages, shrinking print volumes, transition from offset to digital printing, increasing mix of digital and print marketing channels (omnichannel communication). To meet these trends, Xerox is expanding its range of inkjet printers with a brand new cut sheet machine - Xerox Baltoro HF Inkjet Press, designed for small print runs (0.7-3.0 million A4 per month). Machine capabilities were demonstrated during the event and participants were able to see the management and quality of the print in practice.
