A new project at Direct Services OOD under the Recovery and Sustainability Plan

On 18.12.2024 Iridesse Production Press sheet-fed digital full-color printing machine has been put into regular operation at Direct Services Ltd.
With the newly installed machine, the company introduced new technological possibilities to increase the printing capacity, because on the one hand the machine is high-performance and will free up the capacity of the current machines, and on the other - its format allows more reproductions to be placed on 1 sheet.
Direct Services Ltd. is a company specializing in digital book printing. The new sheet-fed full-color machine can work with a printing sheet format of 330 x 1200 mm. On such a sheet, 16 reproductions can be made, and the percentage of unused area of the printing sheet is extremely small. With the new machine, technological waste is reduced, as the amount of raw material used is also reduced and the sheet area is better utilized.
The new machine in Direct Services Ltd. is directly aimed at the implementation of technologies that ensure the introduction and application of circular models for the production of final products and accelerating the transition to a circular economy, by introducing circular models for the use of resources and implementation of climate-neutral production and consumption methods and technologies.
